Amplify your chances of success. Demystify the publishing process. How do you hook the interest of a literary agent? What practical steps can you take to enhance your chances of getting your work into the world through traditional publication routes? What tools, tricks and techniques can writers employ to top-up their resilience in a career path which can be rife with rejection?

This practical and inspiring week has been designed for writers of both poetry and prose, to encompass both fiction and non-fiction, and for writers at different stages of their careers to address these age-old questions. The week will include a Pitch Masterclass session, in which all writers will be invited to craft, refine and develop the way they speak about their work, using strength-based techniques. Facilitated by fully-qualified author coach and writer development specialist Julia Forster from Write Within, the week will be delivered through morning workshop sessions and afternoon 1:1 tutorials. This week includes an in-person session with bestselling author Carole Hailey and an online session with the publisher at Lucent Dreaming, Jannat Ahmed. Each workshop will conclude with an Ask Me Anything quick-fire session.

Prepare to leave Tŷ Newydd empowered by publishing industry insights to take your work into the world with new-found zest and confidence!
