Doesn’t it look good enough to eat? We’re also delighted to be announcing our 2016 programme with the launch of this new website. After months of careful planning, toing and froing with tutors and guest speakers, writing and editing biographies and blurbs (and writing them and editing them again a hundred times over) – we’re over the moon to finally be able to reveal all. In other news:

• Tŷ Newydd has aquired a kitten-in-residence. She cannot yet write poetry, but she can chase her tail better than any old Tŷ Newydd squirrel.
• We’re very near to finishing our renovations. The Arts Council of Wales generously awarded a Lottery Capital Grant of £30,000 towards the work, which was matched by £10,000 from The Welsh Academy, and a further £10,000 from the Ashley Family Foundation via the Community Foundation in Wales. The funds were spent on new furnishings, fittings and signage to improve the bedrooms, bathrooms and communal spaces, as well as a series of artistic works for installation on site.
• Less than seven weeks away from Christmas, Tŷ Newydd is still available to let over the festive holidays. Perfect for large families, or groups of friends. Contact us if you’re interested.
